Rezoning sought for two Old Canton Road properties
Case 2026-R-02 would move 340 and 360 Old Canton Road from City Center Residential to City Center Transitional. A separate request was pulled from the same hearing.
A rezoning request covering two properties on Old Canton Road went before a public hearing at City Hall on Thursday, August 6 at 5 p.m.
Filed as Case 2026-R-02, the request from Nicole Hirshowitz seeks to rezone 340 Old Canton Road from City Center Residential (CC-R) to City Center Transitional (CC-T) for the purpose of operating a wellness center and chiropractic office.
The same request would rezone 360 Old Canton Road from CC-R to CC-T as well, with no proposed change of use stated in the notice.
A second item originally scheduled for the same hearing — a change in zoning conditions request from KM Homes, LLC, filed as Case 2026-V-01 — was removed from the public hearing schedule, according to the city's notice.
That case is back on the calendar for September 3. The September notice, which carries the same case number, does not name KM Homes or say why the August hearing was cancelled.
